Possible species: M. vietnamesis, M. monareriata, M. capricornis, M. florida etc
Description: Grows in an irregular plate formation. Multiple fragile layers eventually form dependent upon water current conditions. Tan to deep chocolate brown in color depending on lighting.
Care: Usual SPS water chemistry and tolerant of range of water currents which will affect growth formation. Keep this one low in the tank under lighting more intense than 175 W halides otherwise this one will slowly bleach. Does best under VHO and PC lighting. This coral has been in captive propagation program since 2000.
