Possible species: Pocillopora damicornis
Description: Grows in a dense bush formation with polyp extension all the time unless disturbed. This polyp extension gives a “fuzzy bottle brush” appearance. Colour is very dependent upon incident light.
Care: A good recommendation for a first SPS coral. This coral will reproduce in the aquarium by a planulae release mechanism if the parent colony is left to grow to a significant size. Does not need 400W halides where it will turn very pale. PC and VHO lighting is perfectly adequate. This coral has been in captive propagation program since 1999.
